While attending WWDC 2009 I gave a short demo for a TUAW blogger who was asking iPhone and iPod touch developers to come by and give demonstrations of their apps. Their article mentions both Calcutipr and another developer’s tip calculator (Gratuitous).

This update mainly fixes bugs that iPhone OS 3.0 introduced into the application. I was planning on updating the App before iPhone OS 3.0 was released but I was unable to get the App submitted in time.

This update brings no major changes to the application, the only changes are bug fixes.

Changes:

  • Minor bug fixes.

Expect Calcutipr version 1.1.1 to hit the App Store in the next few days.

Calcutipr 1.1.0

Several hours ago Apple approved the first update to my Tip Calculator, Calcutipr, which is now live in the iTunes App Store. As before, Calcutipr remains a free iPhone/iPod touch application. I feel this update brings several essential features (bill, tip splitting, tax subtraction and an user interface overhaul). This new version of Calcutipr, 1.1.0 more resembles my initial vision of the App, the user interface was one aspect of the App I wanted to work and look right.
